Resident Buzzard

This buzzard spends most of its day in the vineyard, sat on its favourite vine post. We captured this by chance trying to film the rabbits, not them being eaten.

Buzzards are the most common bird of prey in the UK with around 70,000 breeding pairs, a wingspan of up to 1.4m and living on small mammals and birds, even worms and large insects when food is scarce.

We are actively encourage wildlife, so hopefully there will be lots more close encounters.
